TERMS OF HIRE
Lewis Digger Hire can provide both Operated Diggers and Self-Hire Diggers.
DIGGER SELF-HIRE
FUEL
– All machines come with a full tank of diesel fuel. Upon return, refueling is chargeable – or you may choose to refill yourself before return.
From 1st April 2022, it is ILLEGAL TO USE RED DIESEL, by order of HMRC. Please be aware that if RED DIESEL is used, charges will apply for draining and cleaning the tank and replacing the filters.
LENGTH OF HIRE
– Minimum digger hire: 1 day
– Maximum length of hire: your choice!
INSURANCE
– For self-hire, insurance is the responsibility of the Hirer.
– Short-term plant hire can be arranged with this link →
DELIVERY
– Delivery is usually available from the next day.
– Same-day delivery if available.
– Delivery to the site is not included in the hire cost.
DIGGER OPERATED HIRE

– The cost of fuel is included in Operated Hire.
